About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us swapped screenshots of whatever we were stuck on. At some point the messages got too long for a chat, so we turned them into a small site. That's still the spirit here: real notes from real sessions.
We cover every genre a phone can run — puzzles, RPGs, strategy, arcade, racing, the lot. A game gets a review only after someone on the team has spent enough time with it to have a proper opinion, usually a week or more of daily play.
We pick titles the way friends do: something looks interesting, someone downloads it, and if it's worth talking about it ends up here. We also follow reader tips, which is how half of our weirder finds arrive.
Nobody pays us to like a game. When something disappoints us we say so, and when a small game surprises us we make noise about it. That's the whole point.
